Hospital Value Index™ gives you the ability to select two to five providers. You'll be treated to a list of side-by-side scores for those hospitals. The different scores to compare include 30 Day Readmission Rates, 30 Day Mortality Rates, Patient Satisfaction, Core Measures, and Hospital Value Index™.

The Hospital Value Index™ section is the leading tool to use existing performance metrics to create a value proposition for hospitals and their consumers.

Core Measures track a variety of evidence-based, scientifically-researched standards of care which have been shown to result in improved clinical outcomes for patients. Core Measures describe the fundamental things that should happen while patients and their families are in the hospital based on research and national standards. The core measure score is based on 24 of the hospital quality measures and shows the percentage of patients who received the recommended care for all of the measures that they were eligible to receive.
